Premixed Sinus Rinse Packets, 100 Count

The Mixture Packets Box contains 100 Regular Premixed Packets of pH Balanced Sodium Chloride & Sodium Bicarbonate Mixture (USP Grade, Natural Ingredients, Isotonic, Preservative Free & Iodine Free). The box includes an Educational Brochure with instructions in English, Spanish, or French.

The key difference between the Hypertonic (green) and Isotonic (blue) packets lies in the concentration of the solution. The green packet, when mixed with 8 oz. (240 ml.) of water, will create a Hypertonic (higher concentration) solution. However, if mixed with 16 oz. (480 ml.) of water, it can also produce an isotonic solution, equivalent to the regular blue packet. The blue packet, on the other hand, creates an isotonic solution when mixed with 8 oz. (240 ml.) of water (using the SINUS RINSE bottle or other measuring devices).

It is strongly recommended to use the green hypertonic packet only under the advice of a physician or with careful judgment. Some research reports and feedback from physicians and customers have suggested additional benefits from using a hypertonic solution, but it is important to discontinue use if any intolerable burning or stinging is experienced.

The Pediatric Kit and the regular kit differ in their bottle sizes and aperture (opening) dimensions. The Pediatric Sinus Rinse bottle has a volume capacity of 4 oz. (120 ml.) and a 3/32 in. (2.5 mm) aperture, while the Regular Sinus Rinse bottle has a volume capacity of 8 oz. (240 ml.) and a 3/16 in. (4.5 mm) aperture. Both systems are designed to provide the same concentration of solution.

Children or adults who find the regular 8 oz. (240 ml.) bottle with the 3/16 in. (4.5 mm) cap too large may consider trying the Pediatric Kit, as the therapeutic benefits will be identical. It is suggested to use the regular blue-colored packet for individuals aged 10 years and up.
